  • Refusal of treatment only after signing the informed consent following the consultation of the concerned treating physician.
  • Access to his/her medical record.
  • Right to complain and seek a fair solution.
  • Right to information about treatment and healthcare needs.
  • Right to respect special preferences, spiritual, and cultural needs.
  • Receive care from qualified care providers.
  • Right to choose a care provider.
  • Right to terminate the service upon dissatisfaction with prior notice.

Patient Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing accurate and complete information about present complaints, past illnesses, hospitalizations, medications, current health status, and other matters relating to changes in health or service requirements.
  • Responsible for communicating personal and physical needs.
  • Patient/family members are responsible for providing respect, privacy, and safety to those providing care.
  • Responsible for taking care of personal belongings.
  • Responsible for following the prescribed and agreed treatment plan and instructions from the medical team.
  • Responsible for assuring that the financial obligations of his/her care are fulfilled as promptly as possible.
  • Patient/next of kin (NOK) is responsible for the continuous availability of drugs/consumables required for treatment at home.
